Frequently Asked Questions
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying in the city of Siena! If you stay in the city centre, we will provide transport from Siena to the wedding venue and back at the end of the evening. If you decide to stay elsewhere, such as in the countryside or in a smaller village, you will be responsible for your own transport to and from the wedding.

Is this an American wedding or an English wedding?
Both and neither! If you think something is weird/tacky/rude/stuffy/bizarre, it is probably because we are picking and choosing our favo(u)rite traditions from our two homes.
What should I wear?
The dress code is festive cocktail attire! And we are in Tuscany. That means suits (perhaps linen?), long or short dresses (perhaps colourful?), and general festive fun evening vibes. Morning dress and hats are not expected, nor are dinner suits/tuxedos. Here is some inspo from Vogue.
Unless it rains, the wedding and dinner will be outside. If it rains, events will move inside. Please check the weather and dress accordingly! When considering footwear, be aware that the venue includes grassy areas, uneven flagstones, and gravel.
What will the food be like?
Delicious Italian cuisine! Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, which we will happily accommodate. Let us know if you have any specific concerns or questions.
Are There Passport and Visa Requirements to travel to Italy?
Yes! Info about these requirements is here.
What else can I do while I am in town?
